The world’s most precious thing is life. Whether the person is rich or poor, belongs to any caste or religion, good or bad, the value of human life is same. There is only one life for all of us and we do not know if we will be born again. Although this life is sometimes lost by reasons beyond our control like accident, murder, suicide, health issue, pregnancy etc. we are also sometimes responsible for someone’s death which is a very sad thing.In this modern world, we work like a machine and the importance of time has become crucial. One among the major things that we try to save time on is travel. To complete our work or to reach the office, we ride/drive with little regard about our/others’ safety which in turn results in most number of accidents.

Certain situations in life require immediate medical care and a fraction of a second delay can drastically change somebody’s life. The ambulance service and paramedics are very important in society as they save hundreds of lives daily by responding to emergency calls.An ambulance blares its siren signals to convey an emergency, one where someone’s life is at stake. However, despite these loud sirens, ambulances in the city face a huge problem trying to navigate through jammed roads. While common sense demands that everyone, in the way of the vehicle, should move aside and allow the ambulance to pass through, most people ignore it.In the ambulance, the person will be battling for his/her life. Whatever the work, never mind. Once the life is gone, we cannot bring back the person and nothing is more important. And if we don’t give way, the person is likely to die.The person in the ambulance could be our mother, father or friends too. Our concern should be no less than for other people too. We should give the best chance for a person’s survival and to live life.
